You'll start things off with a glass of Crémant Brut or Rosé, to get you into a bubbly mood. Then you'll have your choice from a special Valentine's selection of mouth-watering French specialities. For starters, you could enjoy Salmon Carpaccio, with Preserved Lemon & Chilli Dressing. Or there's Roasted Pumpkin & Black Truffle Ravioles, full of flavour in every bite. For a hearty starter, try Ceps, with Chestnut & Chicken Velouté. Each of the main dishes is equally delicious. Fish lovers might go for Roasted Cod Pavé, with Salsify & Shellfish Bisque. Or there's succulent Grilled Duck Breast, with Radicchio, Citrus & Artichokes. For a lighter bite, try Jerusalem Artichokes, with Trompettes Mushrooms & Pecorino Risotto. Then, for dessert, you could keep it classic with Blue Cheese & Fig Chutney. Or try the fresh flavours of Pink Grapefruit & Almond Tart, White Chocolate Ice-Cream. For something exotic, go for the Iced Candied Chestnut Parfait & Passion Fruit Coulis. It's incredible!

No matter which dishes you choose at Cigalon, you're sure to be impressed. And, with friendly service and an exclusive yet welcoming atmosphere, this is your romantic destination, on Valentine's, and every night of the year.

Valentine's cards A history of romance

One of the most recognised traditions of Valentine's Day is the Valentine's card, which we use to give our loved one a romantic message. According to legend, the first Valentine's card came from Saint Valentine himself. On the evening before Valentine was to be executed, he wrote to the daughter of his jailer, Asterius, signing himself as "Your Valentine." Unfortunately his card didn't save his life!
