MORE ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE
We're sure you're going to love this special dinner at Belgraves, not just because you've got one of London's talented chefs in Sophie Michell, but also because the unique setting of the gorgeous terrace is the perfect compliment to the excellent food and drinks you'll be indulging in. This three-course dinner has everything: Prosecco, wine, a cocktail, and absolutely mouth-watering cuisine.
You'll have three choices for each course. For starters, you could go for artisan smoked mackerel with lightly pickled cucumber served with radish salad and house made soda bread. A tasty light bite is the pear, endive and pecorino cheese salad. For something heartier, try the ham hock salad, with pickled red onion, watercress and deep-fried hen's egg. Next up you'll have some incredible mains to choose from. Free range chicken breast confit with garlic mash, salsify and artichokes is a feel-good meal you'll savour. Seafood lovers should try the sea bass, with incredible braised saffron carrot and fennel. Pumpkin gnocchi with gorgonzola is a creamy and flavourful Italian dish.
The desserts are equally decadent. Pear and almond tart with ginger ice cream is uniquely refreshing. White chocolate pot with passionfruit curd is thick and creamy. Or for something unique, try floating islands with maple syrup, pink praline and violets, one of the signature desserts. And when you polish off the sweets, you can move to the bar for a nightcap, or just stay on the terrace and while the night away.
This dinner really has everything, and it all takes place at one of the stand-out restaurants in London. It's a complete gourmet experience in the heart of the City.learn more
BET YOU DIDN'T KNOW
Chef Sophie Michell hails from a lineage of avid foodies and professional cooks. Her first encounters with cooking were with her grandmother. Showing incredible potential so early on, by the young age of 15 Sophie was already running services in a Somerset gastropub and a career in the food industry was already decided upon. Sophie went on to train at the respected Butler's Wharf Chef School in London, while working at reputable and glamorous restaurants La Gavroche, the Michelin-starred Greenhouse, the Lanesborough and the Embassy.
At the age of 19, Sophie had been nominated ‘Young Chef of the Year’ by the prestigious Craft Guild of Chefs. Perhaps her biggest challenge to date was becoming the UK’s youngest female Executive Chef at London’s chic Belgraves Hotel; a title she is immensely proud of.
