Chance4Children

Chance 4 Children lends a helping hand to orphaned, socially disadvantaged and terminally ill children. Established in 1996, the non-profit organization runs three initiatives that target the growth and well being of children in need. The ROBIN HOOD program partners with multinational corporations and local businesses to assist cash-strapped local orphanages to create nurturing environments for institutionalized children. As the children grow older, they eventually have to leave these foster environments and try to integrate into society. C4Cs SPRINGBOARD TO LIFE program then prepares the young adults for this often traumatic transition by teaching them vocational skills that put them on even footing when entering the job market. With its popular DR. CLOWN initiative, C4C delivers therapeutic doses of laughter and joy to ill and hospitalized children. The Dr. Clown teams of “seriously funny” clowns visit children wards in local hospitals to prove that the age-old adage that “a merry heart is as good as medicine” still holds true today!
