JIŘÍ VORÁČ La Truffe's truffle master

While you'll certainly appreciate the artistry that will appear on your plate during this truffle extravaganza, we thought we'd take a moment to introduce you to the artist in the kitchen: Chef Jiří Voráč. Having graduated from his internship at the prestigious Institute Paul Bocusse in Lyon, Voráč remained in France and began working under the leadership of the country's "Truffle King," Clément Bruno at his renowned restaurant, Bruno.

This prepared Voráč to return to Prague where he has been dazzling visitors to La Truffe with his unique, truffle-infused creations for years. On a recent visit to the restaurant, Clément Bruno commented that he could relax in knowing that his truffle empire was in good hands with Voráč. We think you'll agree!

There are few things that impress the palate as much as the truffle. Rich, earthy and altogether unforgettable, it's a flavor that can elevate an ordinary meal and turn it into a true work of art — especially when it's in the hands of Chef Jiří Voráč at La Truffe restaurant. Voráč has created a stunning truffle-centric five-course menu especially for Lime&Tonic members.

First, an amuse bouche will pique your culinary interest. Then your dining adventure begins in earnest with the first course delivering Chestnut velouté with slices of truffle and truffle oil. This will be followed by a La Truffe speciality: delicious potato with grated truffle and truffle cream. Next, you'll take a small break to fresh your palate with the intermezzo: Frizzante sorbet with a leaf of truffle.

Then it's time for the star of the show to arrive: tournedos à la Rossini with foie gras, potato purée and truffle sauce. And even though you might be getting full at this point, once the a la carte dessert selection is presented to you, we think you'll find room for just one more tantalising taste whether it be the pear poached in red wine, the sinful chocolate cake or something else of your choosing.
