The American Steakhouse What’s its story?

The Midtown Grill Restaurant was opened in September 2011 at the Prague Marriott Hotel and is following in the tradition of old American steakhouses. In fact, Midtown Grill is the only hotel in the Czech Republic who gets their steaks from Creekstone Farm in the US. The restaurant prepares these top-grade steaks in a specialised Montague steak broiler which is unique in its ability to produce temperatures as high as 1372ºC.

So what makes for a classic American steakhouse? It’s all about the meat. A good steakhouse uses only the choicest cuts and cooks them to order–no heat lamps, microwaves or other appalling kitchen appliances. Then there are the sides–a range of potatoes and vegetables to accompany your steak. The atmosphere is always casual and relaxed. You are here for the food and knowledgeable servers and chefs in the kitchen. And in true American steakhouse style, once you find ‘your’ steakhouse, you’ll be a loyal customer for life!

In connection with the all-new, very cool Midtown Grill at the Marriott Hotel, we are pleased to present a "Tomahawk steak" — one kilogram of prime Creekstone Farm USDA certified beef, grilled on the only Montague steak broiler in town.

The steak is of course cooked to your specifications by the experts in the Midtown Grill kitchen. Plus, not that you’d need much else to eat–but this offer also includes your choice of two sides and a two sauces. Some purists might pooh-pooh a steak sauce, but these are tasty blends which bring out the meat’s natural flavours. Try the red wine sauce, mushroom sauce, Hollandaise sauce or any of the other three sauces. For your sides, there’s a range of potatoes and vegetables including creamy spinach, grilled asparagus with leeks, spicy potatoes and more.

The Midtown Grill opened in September 2011 and is styled in the fun atmosphere of an American steak house. The focus is on the food–steak, seafood and chops being their specialties. You obviously will not have room for any other food if you take advantage of this offer; however the Midtown Grill is always a great place to keep in mind if you are looking for a fresh place for lunch or dinner.
