Owner and head-chef Chris Cranswick-Smith brings a touch of celebrity to Emmilou. When he’s not on the restaurant floor charming the pants off patrons, or elbow deep in the kitchen, Chris features regularly on TV show ‘Ready Steady Cook’.
Prior to his years as owner and celeb chef of Emmilou, Chris worked at some of Sydney’s most impressive restaurants including Aria and Est. as well as an overseas sojourn working in Michelin Star restaurants.
Chris is every bit as creative in the Emmilou kitchen as he is on the Ready Steady Cook set, having created a menu that has given the traditional Spanish tapas a new creative dimension.

Then its time for one of Emmilou's most popular dishes, the stuffed zucchini flowers w goats cheese, pumpkin seeds & truffle honey--this is a winner!
Next up is a selection of Emmilou's amazing cured meats served with sourdough and guindillos; and last but not least is the infamous Emmilou's Paella, their signature paella with razor clams, sobrasada and peas.
