V8 Supercar events take place in all the states of Australia, which is one of the only professional sports in Australia to boast such a feat.
The V8 Supercars themselves take as their basis either the Holden Commodore or Ford Falcon. All Aussie fans take a stand and are passionately either Ford or Holden enthusiasts. But from 2013, an old rival returns! Nissan will be joining the grid as a 3rd manufacturer providing a V8 Sedan to Kelly Racing. At present, the 2013 line up for Kelly Racing will include 4 Nissan vehicles.
Nissan’s last major, factory-backed touring car involvement in Australia was in 1992 with Gibson Motorsport and the mighty GT-R ‘Godzilla’. The dominant GT-R left Holden & Ford for dead in the early 90's, leading to their ban.
Its last Bathurst 1000 start Nissan came in that year with Jim Richards and Mark Skaife winning the race, the second in a row for Nissan after also claiming victory in 1991.
This should make things interesting. The age old question will soon become... Holden, Ford or Nissan?

Get your gear on and strap yourself into the drivers seat for a day of exhilarating speed. This experience will have you burning rubber with 6 Laps (13.2 km's) of you at the wheel.
The day will commence with 20-30 min briefing session which will take you through safety, track and racing techniques. You will be equipped with all the necessary gear including a full race suit and helmet then it's over to pit lane to choose your car.. the age old Aussie question--are you a Holden or Ford??!
Now its time to finally live out the dream. Get behind the wheel, start your engine and get it revving for the grunt and G-force that awaits. Your experienced driving coach will be with you along the way guiding you through the circuit and more importantly giving you the confidence to go harder and faster!
The adrenaline will be pumping through your body after your drive experience, the only problem is the feeling is addictive and you'll buzzing at the memory for weeks to come!
